Get Ready to Dominate the Waters with the New Surface Seducer Double Barrel Camo Bass Bug Popper
For years now the Double Barrel Bass Bug popper has been a staple fly for anglers who love topwater eats from bass, panfish and other predatory fish. The tried and true Bass Bug has leveled up its lineup with the addition of camouflage color schemes - The Surface Seducer Double Barrel Camo Bass Bug Popper. Known for their innovative and high-performing fishing gear, Flymen has once again delivered with this hyper-realistic and effective fly. The new Camo Bass Bug is designed to mimic natural prey, but with a stealthy approach! Every aspect of this fly is helping you bring in those trophy bass and other predatory fish with ease!
The Camo Bass Bug Popper isn’t just another fly in your box—it’s a game-changer. Whether you’re a seasoned angler looking to add a new secret weapon to your arsenal or a beginner eager to experience the thrill of topwater fishing, this popper is a must-have. The standout feature of this popper is its unique camo design. While most fly designs focus on realism, the Double Barrel Camo Bass Bug turns that approach on its head. The intricate camouflage pattern on the top and sides of the popper enhances its realism, providing a visual allure that’s irresistible to bass and other predatory species. This thoughtful design is particularly effective because fish often see their prey from below, silhouetted against the water's surface. The camo pattern breaks up the outline of the fly, making it appear more like a natural food source. These flies are available in sizes #2 & #6, and in color patterns of Blue & White, Purple & White, Grey & White, and my personal favorite, Green.
The Double Barrel body creates a powerful popping action on the water’s surface, mimicking the frantic movements of a struggling prey. This action not only generates sound and vibrations that attract fish from a distance but also makes the flies’ appearance highly enticing to fish lurking beneath the surface.
On a recent fishing trip, I had the opportunity to test out several of these fly patterns and different sizes, and I can attest to their effectiveness. I rigged up my 7-weight rod with a floating line and a sturdy 9 foot, 10-pound leader. I found these Camo Bass Bug very easy to cast, and they were very durable to being thrown up against tree stumps and overhangs. For increased success, place the Camo Bass Bug near submerged structures like fallen logs and lily pads, or close to the bank of a river or pond. Let the fly settle, then begin your retrieve by giving it a few short, sharp strips then pause. The popping sound of the fly is often echoed by a surface eruption! So when fishing these flies, always be ready for that fish to strike from below. These flies can also be dead drifted in the riffle or back eddy of a creek. The rubber legs of the fly add a ton of realism, and often will entice a strike even without popping the fly along the surface.
Experience the thrill of topwater bass fishing like never before with the new Surface Seducer Double Barrel Camo Bass Bug Popper from Flymen Fishing Co. Don’t miss out on the action this season—add this innovative fly to your fly box today!

This is my testimony how Kwale Temple helped me to get my EX back. When I found Dr. Kwale on Facebook I was in desperate need of bringing my ex lover back. He left me for another woman. It all happened so fast and I had no choice in the situation. He just dumped me after 3 years with no explanation. I reached out to Dr. Kwale through his Email kwaletemple@gmail.com and he told me what I need to do before he can help me and I did exactly that. After he cast the love spell to help us get back together. My husband started texting me again and felt horrible for what he has put me through. He said that I was the most important person in his life and he knows that now. We moved in together and he is so committed to me now. I highly recommend Dr. Kwale Solution spell to anyone in need to get their partner back. Kindly send an email to Dr. Kwale at Kwaletemple@gmail.com .
