Fly Tying Tutorial: Adam Kornuth's Magic Mouse

It's Mousin' Time

If you want to see river monsters crush your fly on the surface and put up a good fight, give the Magic Mouse a go!

Finding the right combination of a realistic yet easy-to-tie mouse pattern is one of the hardest things to do in fly tying, but Adam Kornuth found the Holy Grail in his Magic Mouse.

With a Double Barrel slider head on a Senyo's Articulated Shank for Steelhead and Salmon Flies, backed up by the ultra-sharp and durable Kona Universal Strong Streamer hook, The Magic Mouse has everything you need in a great mouse pattern while being simple to tie.

Fun fly, I’d like to tie a few for my trip to Alaska. Do you have experience in downsizing it a bit and the associated sizes . The camp I go to does not want clients to use big hooks for the fish as they want to minimize the trauma. Thanks

Tried the flies I bought recently and Top water articulated fly is too heavy and the Small double barrels sink too easily. The larger double barrels are good though! Any advice or help would be appreciated since the flies are expensive. Thanks

Will your shop pull the materials and send it all or do I need to order each thing separately?
