Hardly, Strictly Musky 2016

HSM '16 was dominated by Flymen guide program members showing their chops.
Blane Chocklett, Chris Willen, Mike Schultz took the overall win of total combined inches with a 41.5", a 36", and a 40" musky at the two-day event on the Collins River near McMinnville, Tennessee.
Flymen guide program member John Mauser of Tailing Tide Guide Service put his team on the board.
Chris Thompson and two of the newest additions to the Flymen guide program – John Mauser of Tailing Tide Guide Service and Ryan Shea of Brookdog Fishing Co. – entered the event as Team Project Healing Waters/Temple Fork Outfitters and held the lead after the first day with a 35.5" musky caught by John.
Maryland angler Katie Blizzard caught the biggest fish of the event, measuring at 42.75".
Hardly, Strictly Musky was created by Todd Gregory, owner of Towee Boats.
2016 was the event's 5th year running, and it drew in 70 registered anglers from 16 states. It was sponsored by Schultz Outfitters, Flood Tide Co., TFO, Regal, Patagonia, Costa Del Mar, Hatch, Monic, Southern Culture on the Fly, and us here at Flymen Fishing Co.

Next year's Hardly, Strictly Musky is scheduled for May 11-13, 2017.
