Originally designed for fly fishing The Seychelles, the Alphlexo Crab has become a must-have fly for targeting saltwater species such as bonefish and permit worldwide.

These are the genuine Alphlexo Crabs that are produced in South Africa for our friends at Alphonse Fishing Co., who developed and perfected the fly for their guide and lodge operations in The Seychelles. The unique body design of the Alphexo Crab is achieved by tying them with Body Tubing.

Don't worry about getting your fly stuck in the weeds

All the Alphlexo Crabs come with a weed guard as standard. You have the option to cut it off if you are fishing in a weedless area.

Customize the crab legs or fish them as is

Most of the colors come with plain-colored legs. This allows you to easily "customize" your crab by adding bars or color to the legs with a permanent marker pen in order to "match your local crab hatch" if you would like.
